Sofos Keftedes Meatballs
INGREDIENTS
1 kg ground beef
3 eggs
1 small onion, chopped
1 pinch of cumin
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 sprigs of mint, finely chopped
1 kg bread, soaked in water
DIRECTIONS:
Drain the bread and squeeze it very well to remove all the excess water.
Place all the ingredients, including the bread, into a bowl.
Add salt and pepper.
Mix everything thoroughly by hand until well combined.
Cover and let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Then shape the mixture into small balls and fry them until golden brown.
