Paros — The Greek Island for Everyone
Paros island in Greece has been voted the best place in Europe to spend your 2025 vacation.
As luck will have it, we decided to visit the Greek island of Paros this summer.
Yes, it lived up to the accolade, and we cannot wait to go back.
Paros island is the third largest Cycladic Island. Since antiquity white marble and lovely beaches create the stunning backdrop. Incidentally, the best and most beautiful marble found in all of Greece is on the island of Paros.
During our vacation our family stayed in Naousa, the largest and most delightful town in my opinion.
My daughter Patricia selected the Hotel Senia for us and it was a perfect choice.
The staff, so engaging, friendly and welcoming, all eager to ensure our good times on
NAOUSA, PAROS
Naousa is a great town to visit because it is easy to get around and walk everywhere by foot. The center of town is adorable, and the restaurants stay open late into the evening.
Some of our family’s favorites include: SIPAROS seaside restaurant, which captures the flavor of Paros with each bite of each meal. Seafood a must everywhere on the island as it is daily fresh.
The energy and food of Statheros was indelible. Loved sitting on the beach watching the waves gush up on the rocks below our table. Mouthwatering food reflects the local flavors of Paros Island. We enjoyed the octopus and dips very much.
Love the sea with a music backdrop and edibles and drinks? We do, and we had a blast at CRIOS Beach Bar. Book early and reserve your beach chairs. Water was perfect to swim in, and the vibe was cool; hip and we had a blast.
There are numerous archeological sites on this island, listen to this week’s episode 201 PAROS featuring Miltiadis to learn more.
As a matter of fact, you will enjoy and learn alot from my interview with Guest
experience curator, Miltiadis. He has been working at Hotel Senia for 7 years and loves to
share the uniqueness of Paros Island.
Finally, Paros is an easy island to explore, with an excellent bus service linking the three main towns. However, wherever you are in Naousa, make sure you are camera ready for all the beautiful and bright boats waiting to be photographed.
PS, the Greek golden sun makes the lighting so gorgeous for all your photographic memories. Hope you capture the essence and beauty of this beloved and popular Greek island when you go one day soon!
In the meantime,
