Positive Thoughts & Talk = A Positive Life
One morning about 15 years ago, I was in a vulnerable moment when I walked into my husband’s closet where he was standing and getting dressed. I asked him, “what am I really good at?” He without hesitation and with confidence replied…. ENTHUSIASM.
And he is right, I am enthusiastic and hopeful for all things true, good and beautiful.
Moreover, good and beautiful things are within YOUR reach.
Do you believe this statement?
That is the key, so what do you think about this? What do you believe?
Pretty much like the monk wrote in one of his books, Your thoughts Determine your life, most people desire a happy and bright life.
You can get happy, but what are the steps?
It requires, from time to time, choosing a slower speed, going within yourself to clean out the bad, and engaging in meditation/ prayer via the pathway to A from B.
Hmmmm. More on that in a moment but first….

A long time ago, Marcus Aurelius said that “You have the power over your mind- NOT outside events. Realize this and you will find strength.”
To this day, this present moment, the Roman emperor and stoic philosopher Aurelius is telling us that we can endure and do better by focusing the mind on possibilities.
You may tell yourself that your past and your DNA and your genetic makeup is the cause of everything. Certainly, all of it is a part of your story, but not the end of the story.
Here is the good news:
According to Dr. Joe Dispenza, you are capable of something more, something better when you rewire your thoughts and choose and use positive words.
He goes on to report that positivity begins at the cellular level. Science proves that your genetic markers and gene expression which you are born with are scientifically capable of changing for the better. So, whatever you situation is now, and wherever you mentally find yourself, you have the power to improve your situation.
Dr Dispenza wrote a book titled BECOMING SUPERNATURAL, in which he shares research supporting the altering of genes through four types of meditation; including walking, sitting, standing and laying down.
When we can change some feeling or thought inside of us through one of these meditations we can see changes outside of us. Furthermore, when we see that we did it correctly, we do it again. This becomes a habit.
What is the process all about?
Your body holds energy centers that have their own frequencies. When you slow down the thought process and move from beta to alpha brain wave this movement can help alter your thinking - going from B - outer world to A - the inner world or your thoughts.
My mantra has always been in alignment with this school of thought, “We are what we think about, and we are becoming all that we tell ourselves.”
Indeed, it is our subconscious thoughts that give health to our bodies according to Dr.Despenza.
This is powerful information which can help us to create wellness within ourselves. Do you believe this????
FACT: You are not beholden to your genetic markers instead you are able to alter yourself and your situation through prayer/meditation and positive thoughts and talk.
I’m constantly saying positive and bright things to myself because this habit and behavior keeps, we on the happy track. I think about what I tell myself.
But let’s dive a little deeper.
The medical field has produced studies which highlight the brain and nervous system. Each activates the prefrontal cortex. Positive words stimulate this area, linked to planning, focus and higher thinking, enhancing problem solving.
Additionally, Neurotransmitters are a part of the positive equation. You need to release the neurotransmitters to get the beneficial boost of serotonin for good mood and dopamine for pleasure. How can you do this?
POSITIVE HACKS: engage in activities like music, spend time in sunlight, laugh, eat protein rich foods, sleep well and meditate. All positive things for your person.
At the NILA, Neurological Institute of Los Angeles - they emphasize the importance of the mind’s role in healing.
By embracing positive thinking, we can nurture not only our mental well-being but also our physical health at the cellular level.
According to epigenetic research and cellular and genetic studies, the spoken word and positive thoughts can influence genes, affecting the immune function and inflammation.
THE REAL QUESTION TODAY:
What are you waiting for, let’s fill that glass, turn that frown upside down and practice with all upbeat, affirming and favorable words, sentences, thoughts and expressions to help you be hopeful, positive and encouraged.
