World, Catch Me If You Can!

Yiasas!  

When I was 12 years old, I bought an 11×14 picture… 

 “All my friends say, Hey, take it easy! Where’s the fire?” The fire I tell them, is right here.  And it’s burning brighter than ever.  I’ve always been a dreamer.  But now I’m making those dreams come true.    World, catch me if you can.” 

That young preteen- me, already knew she was destined for a career in broadcasting, to master the Greek language and to author a book.   

Looking back, I wonder if that certainty was my purpose revealing itself.  I went with the feeling and told myself, “Αξίζει ο κοποσ- It’s worth the effort.” 

Fast forward, four decades: after a 25-year career in radio, founding a lifestyle brand inspired by my own beloved Manoula, winning voice over awards, producing the Kefi Life Podcast for the past four years and raising a family, I’m finally ready to finish the book I’ve been carrying in my heart from years.   

So, I’m finally giving myself permission to pause.  The podcast will be on hold until September 2026 while I finish the book that’s been waiting for me for years.

I believe this is one of those moments.  Thank you for your support, your encouragement, and walking this journey with me.  In the meantime, The Kefi Life team will continue to share stories and images of a Kefi Life on social media and the Tuesday Newsletter.
